So..... anyone like manga?

I would not be close to that amount of bookmarks, but I wonder how many manga I've forgotten to keep reading. I never keep track of that.

I feel like I commented on this post before but! I love manga more than anime to be honest. My favorite manga is One Piece (it's so good) but all the manga I read are all BL!

If you posted in this thread, then good luck finding that comment :-) I prefer manga over anime as well sometimes, because nothing is cut out and nothing is unintentionally added that could ruin the series. But it also depends on the series where the manga might not be able to compare to the anime. Like Boku no hero Academia. That, and sometimes some manga series never get an anime series :-( Nothing wrong with BL manga. I've been meaning to read The One Piece manga series, but there are so many chapters. Which normally I am okay with, I like to read a lot. I'm just saying that it is going to be a binge and a half to read.

I rarely read manga for some reason. I've been trying to get into more, but I'm trying to stick to reading only in Japanese since my Japanese study has waned over the past few years. The only series I've read in its entirety is Aku no Hana. Luckily, the whole thing was really cheap used in Japan.

I love it! I wish I could afford it though. I bought my first manga a while ago. It is Kaichou wa maid-sama and I love it. I would really appreciate recommendations from others if they'd like to share their favorites. I really like romance, slice of life, and comedy. No horror..

I've read a fair amount over the years, but the list is still nothing compared to the anime I've watched which is well within the 600 mark at the moment ha ha. (Or at least according to my MAL last I checked before the site got all screwy. >,..,<;) Here's a list of the stuff I'm currently reading: -Berserk (Still holding out hope for that ending, Muira!) -One Piece -Black Lagoon (I'm not sure what it is about crime series like this, Jormungand, Gangsta, Psycho-Pass, etc. but there's something about these types of stories that I really like. Just wish there was more of them out there because this genre seems very few in number ha ha. Same goes with mafia/yakuza-type stories.) -Hunter X Hunter -JoJolion/JoJo's part VIII -Ancient Magus' Bride -Robot X Laserbeam (I've barely made a dent in it, but I really relate to Robato so I kind of want to see how it ends and where his story leads him) -Black Butler -D. Gray-Man -Attack on Titan (I really dig the lore despite not being into the characters and story, but I'm interested in seeing where they eventually end it.) -One Punch Man -Blue Exorcist -I'm rereading Naoki Urasawa's Monster again because I love it so much. (And casually collecting the double volumes.) -Various Junji Ito stories (He's kind of become my favourite horror author; shame about the anime adaptation though.) -Mob Psycho 100 and Tokyo Ghoul Re (Both are together here because I'm kind of in a place where I don't have the time to catch up at the moment but I really want to.) -My Hero Academia (Can you tell I have a soft spot for shounen manga? Maybe it's the collection of JUMP I have at my bedside but there's something about them that always resonates strongly with me.)

Yeah, I got 600+ of manga in my bookmarks :3 (Yeah, I wish that MAL would get fixed already, I want to make an account and figure out what I have watched, read, etc...) That's a pretty impressive list you got there. Wait, really? We had no idea that you liked Shounen Manga :^) -sarcasm- But I must know, are you watching My Hero Academia?
