To be honest, anime characters tend to have white, Western, features. So I disagree about the asian thing.

I feel those who are like the topic's title are like children being ignorant and uninterested in going to schools or watch documentaries and educational channels. Repetitive makes it much worse. lmao, that guy at 3:59 in the second video meisterman posted has the same exact thoughts as me when it comes to "cultural appropriation". there's no modern culture on this earth that's like a 100% monolithic original culture do not steal-type of thing. Everything has developed with heavy influences from other cultures, the world has never been some type of absolute vacuum of "this type of people here, that type of people there" that people seem to believe it is. Sure, it's fine to be proud of your culture. But people get too overzealous and basically do the whole 'we wuz kangz and shieet' bit, that level of over-zealousness just looks like a bunch of grown ass people doing live action roleplay or something to me, I never bought into it. *shrug*
