Any role playing games for recommendation?

dimdim
Hey there! I'm looking to pick a casual game that I can just play and chill. I'm not really a big fan of mobas or grind feasts, a big plus point is if people actually are willing to put effort into role play. Thanks in advance!

If you have PC then you can pick it up for real cheap on Humble Bundle and while I don't have the DLC, I heard it adds a ton to the game. Absolutely well worth it, a phenomenal game if you can put up with the insane challenge at times :D https://compass-ssl.xbox.com/assets/00/52/0052f549-4517-4fb3-a212-718910a3995e.jpg?n=Dark-Souls-III_GLP-Page-Hero-1084_1920x600.jpg

Just checked it out, looks quite interesting, will probably get it as soon as possible, thanks ^^

It's fantastic! You don't have to play the previous games to enjoy Dark Souls 3 but if you're into story and lore then I recommend playing 1 first - 2 is easily skippable since it's got very little to do with the original lore and is by far the weakest title in the series; but if you end up getting into Souls games then I'd say it's worth a try :)

I'm a lore maniac, I'm that guy that everyone has to wait to read the quests in MMORPGs before going on after, so I guess I'll be going with the first one then.

Tactical RPG: Into the Breach, The Banner Saga series, Shadowrun series (the one made by Harebrained Schemes), X-Com 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Steamworld Heist, Renowned Explorers JRPG: I am Setsuna, Fairy Fencer F (Haven't played much JRPGs recently. Looking for a good recent one) Action RPG: Nier: Automata (Probably my favorite), Dark Souls (the first one was probably my favorite), Nioh, Cat Quest Others: Armello, Darkest Dungeon, Legend of Grimrock (the second was better, but both are really good), Undertale, Lisa (This one is pretty graphic. Trigger warning, for sure), Paper Sorcerer, FTL, and Ironcast (Probably the only Puzzle RPG that I've played) Hopefully, this list helps. All of these can be found on Steam and many of them are definitely worth checking out.

That's a lot of games, thanks. I'll be having fun.
