I've been through that twice, if you perform well on the job..someones going to start hatin. It may be low-key hate or it will be out in the open. Then again some people won't like you on sight lol. I would just keep a "Firm" demeanor when around him, stand your ground without being confrontational..enough to let him know not to cross certain lines. What you project can go along way when dealing with some people. Sucks cause work should be simple..clock in and clock out, but some people make that difficult lol. And how's he getting credit for your work? Fuck that, that's where we would have a problem, you can talk shit all you want....but taking credit? Yeah no lol. Good luck man

Just ignore the toxic person < 3 You are a really nice person and he is the garbage that will get nowhere with that attitude < 3

Haters exist, like some have suggested, I'd recommend ignoring it. Ultimately actions speak louder than words.
