Fellow female gamers? (PS4)

I wonder if a only girl subforum would be useful for the site. Like having to go through a mod to earn access there. Other forums use that. Maybe it helps for topics like this and make them feel more welcome.

I'm very new to the ps4 so i haven't been exposed enough to games to do indepth talk about them. Hi there. Female novice gamer here.

Sadly with the massive influx of creeps roaming the site, it's easy to see why they would prefer to stay hidden :/ There was one new girl who seemed nice as she added me as a friend and messaged me only to deactivate her account before I had a chance to respond; my guess being she ran into a weirdo or two. It's looking bad for women on this site right now and that really sucks. My advice is use the search functions or look into the introduction threads to find female friends that way. Also having friends on here who can introduce you to other friends is also an excellent way to find more people! I hope you find what you're looking for really soon! @Whisp - I think that's a great idea, giving female users a safe haven away from guys is probably what they need; at least they know there's a place they can feel welcome and free from all the creepy dudes lurking around ever other corner. But for now the best the honest part of the community can do is make them feel as welcome as we possibly can.

I dunno, implementing something like that kinda seems a little elitist to me. It also puts on display that this plays is so desperately crawling with dickheads that females need a place of their to escape the insanity. I know ignoring the issue isn't going to solved the problem either but still...

Yeah I can see the issue - it can end up segregating male and female users entirely :/ I think some sort of MO rating level for users would be a good idea too though where people get level ups depending on whether users rate them up - it sounds nice but I can see it being abused :/ It's a difficult fix really.

@ kameiya - that's okay to be a newbie lol i'm a casual gamer, so i'm sure hardcore gamers think i'm a sucky noob v.v i just play to have fun. i'm really into games that have character creation or customizations~ although you're new to the system, do you have any games for it?
