"Why Are Fat People Ridiculed In Anime?"

There's plenty of fat people who aren't ridiculed, can get money and get laid. No, the real problem that fat people face against society is that unhealthy habits are (mentally) linked to laziness and other undesirable traits in a person. If can't even take care of your own health chances are you're not very good at anything. Now, of course, this may sound like an archaic way of thinking but people are still animals of instinct. It is natural for one to avoid those of us who cannot provide some kind of good for themselves.
