Oh I'm going to make a joke about it, Because Muffin is one of the smartest girls on this entire site.(Not saying other girls aren't smart, But point remains.) She is anything BUT what you said. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they are 'secretly' agreeing with you, or don't care. It just means they don't believe the issues you bring up to either be real(Which they could very well be right.) or an issue in of itself. Popular or not, She's not playing dirty. She's just being honest and herself. And it's quite presumptuous of you to say that they have 'false sense of acceptance' if you're a cool person, 9/10 MO is cool to you.

Now. Here is my thoughts on this. If there truly is a wide spread problematic behaviour towards women in MO then it should be mentioned by most members so that it is actually understood. One or two members representing a side, that is not giving the same indication in scope, is not convincing. Those men who feel bad about talking these ideas should think again. At the same time though, men should do the same if there is any similar things happening towards us. As I am still new here, I can't say if there is any problems in this regard yet. I understand that not everyone want to put their situation to light in here but if we want a accurate info then it should be done. Support will be given by others if we see the problem. BUT if there is no voice given then could it be that this is a more focused problem towards only certain members. Or maybe some are just more sensitive to certain behaviour from other members that behave like this intentionally or not. Some people just misunderstand certain behaviour/talking styles that are just normal. Some may also behave a bit too friendly immediately when talking to new people. This is normal due to culture differences and the way you are raised. Certain tolerance should be had when dealing with others but I can't say if this tolerance has been reached with some cases or not. Also some of this discussion be it in here or on the other posts are getting close to being too personal/attack oriented. Opinions and info can/should be given. And discussion is good to be had. Just don't go and prove the other sides point when you are a bit heated in this discussion and when you're not behaving like that normally. This is happening from both sides (not much but I have noticed in some cases) so it is only causing an unnecessary rift between people. And please don't go joking without adding something to balance it out as it just makes the situation worse. Take a breather before posting. Overall hopefully at the end we can make things a bit more clear and have a positive mind set moving forward in here.

Megitsune, You need to realize something. There is a possibility. That you are wrong. Just because someone's smart, doesn't mean they have to agree with you. That goes for anyone. Thinking otherwise, is nothing but arrogant. That is all.

I didn't say that, I said you must believe in the fact that you COULD be wrong. Just like everyone can be about something. Saying that intelligent people can only agree with you. Is arrogance. That's my issue. It's also my issue that you insulted muffin, because she disagrees with you. Which was uncalled for. That is my point. Nothing else.
