I can only date girls that like anime!? Am i the only one?

ouma_adam
It would be a huge plus. Also I don't understand, went to a convention back in spring 2016 and there were a shit ton of couples cosplaying. Wtf...so I guess there must be plenty of people who are into anime and would like an anime friendly partner...but it's virtually impossible to meet them. Tried joining an anime club at my college, while it was fun there were a lot of dudes, and still some people kind kid came off antisocial. So I guess they don't have to completely be into it, but considering how many couples I saw at the con, it sounds reasonable to find an anime enthusiast SO, but how they meet each other is beyond me.

Ouma id try going on a mainstream dating site the search by interests. Like p.o.f.

I've done that but the number of people in my area that put anime as an interest on their profiles are few and far between. Unfortunately I do judge people beyond just liking anime. I have a base preference of looks. What kind of job do they have and are they trying to improve themselves? Etc, etc. So it makes it even harder to find someone.

I wouldn't mind having a bf to cosplay with. I only went to a von once. I saw more groups of friends then couples though. But another con I went to for just one say had more couples then friends. Guess it depends on which con you go to.

I don't mind supporting someone in cosplay but I'm always on the fence doing it myself. I just want someone to geek out with and play video games. I would probably do long distance too.

Never been to a con, and weirdly enough most of the people I know are only casual fans of anime. Having seen like one or two. o3o

Wouldn't matter to me, some of the best relationships I've been in have been with non anime fans. I hardly watch anime nowadays anyway, I'm more into dramas now. One thing I always tell myself is "Someone who's right for you may not look right to you..and they may not like some of the same things". I can see why some want that common ground though.
