Honestly the key is just to force yourself to do something. If you are in a situation where you cant back out of it, like accepting an invite or buying tickets to an event. You will just go and probably have a great time. Do a concert, see a movie, drive to the beach. Anything really, cons are easier to do too.

Yee, I learnt that forcing yourself into uncomfortable situations will make you more comfortable with them in the future. Keep it up, then you'll be a natural in those situations. It's all about learning and pushing yourself to be a better person tomorrow than you were yesterday

I def recommend animecons the most. Everyone kinda comes from the same "I'm kinda awkward but I'm trying my best" background and everyone knows it, so it makes it much easier to interact with everyone. Tho I def recommend getting a hotel with people from like, a Facebook group or here. I'm super thankful for the first bunch'a people that took me in for my first con. We all got to know each other, got drunk, and had the time of our freaking life

She overthinks everything worse than I do because who do you think I learned from and makes herself angry and yell from only possible outcomes. Sometimes I am the one yelled at. Who am I kidding I am the only one nwo because my siblings got out of dodge and stopped talking to her. I hate to sound like that, but you guys don' t even know the things she has told me. Like when Aurelia and I broke up she said I shouldn't be so depressed over someone fake overseas because it was online to begin with. I want my mom back.
