What is the most common sense thing, that you managed to mess up?

One of my best friends thought that the "Underground Railroad" was literally a railroad under the ground. I thought baseboard was called faceboard, I also literally dove in football as a little kid when my coach told me to do a halfback dive. For those of you who dont know football, it is simply a type of running play for the runningback, and i just dove on the ground haha

Basic speech. I have a fairly decent vocabulary as someone who enjoys writing and all that nonsense but man do I mess up when I actually talk! I mean sure I have a speech impediment but boy is having a lisp incredibly annoying and even more so when my mouth simply fails to make the proper syllables! It's awfully silly.

Somehow I managed to forget that one Earth rotation was a day and that one rotation around the sun was one year after eating lunch. I don't know where common sense was, but it was just straight up gone.
