I guess I can say that I switched from Xbox original to Wii when the next generation came around. My dad already had a 360 and I wanted to get back into Nintendo games. Then eventually I also bought a PS3. So these days usually end up with a Ninty home console and Sony console.
There's just somethings you can't get on a PC with a console and vice versa.

I used to mainly play Nintendo consoles back in high school. I played the hell out of my Wii, Wii U, and 3DS. I played my ps2 also, but I was all about that Nintendo. Right before I graduated, I got parents to buy me a cheap ps3 as a graduation present. Ever since then, I've switched to PlayStation as my primary gaming platform. My main console that I play now is my ps4.

Mainly was on PS3 for main console of the past, with Wii for MH3 and other titles but switched primarily to PC with TF2 back in 09 but was inspired almost 100% by Killing Floor to switch

I feel like my games have a longer lifespan on PC. I do use my Ps4 to play fighting games but for everything else I play on my PC.

I never really owed allegiance to any particular console or company. My first console was a Sega Genesis and after that a PS1. From there it was the Game Boy Color, to the Advance, to the Gamecube, to the DS, to the Wii and then finally got a PS2. Weird right? Since then I've started getting all the consoles I've always wanted. At this point I have a Genesis, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, NES, SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and a gaming PC. I think being both a console gamer and a PC gamer lets me just enjoy games, although it is funny that I still haven't bought any XBoxes for myself.
The PC vs Console thing seems pointless to me, to each their own, right? Why divide when we can all just enjoy games without the elitism?
