So how do you even start talking to people online?

im an introvert and i keep to myself because of bullying i have social anxiety and i have been diagnosed with major depression so i hoped that even meeting someone to be friends with on here ( so that i can have at least one friend....) would be amazing and most people on here want to date right away and others want to take it slow and become friends first like me so if u see someone you like on here and they like you back or your to nervous to text them just be yourself at all times and if people don't like it well fuck them because nobody should have to feel unwanted.....anyway I'm getting way off topic its 1:00 am rn so I'm a bit tierd and idk what i am saying half the time so just ...ya....LOL XD

Express curiosity in what they are doing, and use that to start up a conversation. Eventually (if they aren't social potatoes) they will express interest in what your doing, which that can easily blossom into a friendship and further.

I don't know how to start to talk to people...sigh...so I always wait on strangers to start conversations with me, so I have to own a detailed profile.I even feel hesitant to start conversations with people whom I already know because I'm not sure if they are "busy" ＜I don't want to be a bother to both strangers and acquaintances/friends＞. In four years, I start conversations with strangers whose info interest me less than 15 times...the probability is below 1% lol...I'm too weird to approach...I start conversations no matter with strangers or acquaintances/friends mainly under the circumstance that I'm told that I'm not a bother or I have some questions to ask or my batteries are overcharged.

Well as an introvert I used to be a very passive type when it came to this, kinda just waited for people to talk to me first. Though as I got older I became a lot more assertive and started making the first move with people who interest me because I realized that I really like being around other introverts...buuut, with two introverts SOMEBODY has to make the first move or there will never be any conversation at all. :v

I just send someone a message. I have issues being in groups online and in real life so as long as it’s pms I generally just start with hi and the conversation kinda just flows. Just be interested in them. Ask questions and get to know them. I feel like after that conversation just flows naturally
