How do you feel about the ring of space debris around our planet due to attempts at space travel and other related areas? It could impact future attempts at space travel if not dealt with somehow. What do you think could be done about it?

Eventually, we'll probably end up in a situation much like Planetes. When space travel becomes ubiquitous, companies will start setting up business specifically to remove space debris. Organizations like NASA and the US DoD already commit a significant amount of resources tracking every piece of space debris.
