Oh yeah dude, but that shit gets unhealthy when you use it as an excuse to think that's how it'll be with every person you meet. I think people that don't believe or refuse to even try again are people that need to work on themselves first to find what's close to ideal for them. In every way, if you're not willing to do so for yourself it's obvious it's not going to work out ever. People can control the beginning of their feelings, they're just taught they can't. It is being cynical, realism is accepting you'll never be 100% compatible with someone and that's why every single good thing in life comes with effort (I'm not saying go date jerks lol). I can't line up with people that are this lazy and cowardly like. But then again, as said before here, to each their own.
