Tbh, as a demisexual, I'm having difficulty understanding what this issue even is. I get that people can be attracted to different body types but that the "norm" is somehow that skinny is better. But if you know the person you're judging, then why does it even matter? Even the argument that they should be healthy seems kind of trite to me, because the way someone lives, including their unhealthyness is still part of their character, right?

Sure, but I want no part in being with someone unwilling to even take care of their own health. You dont need to be anorexic but give a damn about yourself. I don't find morbidly obese women attractive. That is not changing

Checks, Would you say that of an alcoholic? The point is, if you care about someone, you want what's best for them. Just because it's a character traits, that doesn't make it healthy. I apologize, as this is not what lamby wanted the thread to be about, but I think it just needed to be clarified. Unless, of course, you're looking for chubby chasers and that's just a fetish, healthy or not. I won't argue that, to each thier own, just don't make it out to be healthy nor should the "barbie" look be made to be something all women should strive for.
