what's your disability?

Sometimes I try to concentrate on reading a couple words and after I'm done I realize 10 people have tried speaking to me and there's a while family kerfuffle going on.

I stutter in front of attractive girls. It does not help that English is not my native language, so it is a lot worse I think compared to other peeps

Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was 3. Hashimoto's disease that developed from the RA. An extremely low immune system. I'm sick every month (sometimes twice) with common secondary infections usually lasting weeks. A speech impairment from early childhood trauma/neglect. I went to speech therapy for it but that shit still hits hard if I'm nervous. And severe ADHD to the point it was thought I had autism. I had an IEP with extra teachers placed in classes just for me. Specialists wanted to put me on disability but my guardian refused, I can still be put on disability but I also don't want that label.

@alihawk Are there any medications that you use? If yes, are there any side effects to those medicines?

As an adult I can't afford treatment for the physical stuff. I am on Adderall that causes me to have large weight fluctuations, high bp, and exacerbates my insomnia.

@alihawk i assume you are taking adderall for the ADHD? Are you able to properly function without it? I used to take adderall when i was younger but my mom took me off it because it caused me to have a loss in appetite to the point where i didnt eat all day and would be sick the next day when i did try to eat. Plus the extremely high dosage usually left me in unresponsive state. Maybe try to ease off it if it has alot of adverse effects on you.
