So I was just taking my dad out to eat for his birthday and there was a young waitress shadowing someone. My parents we're talking about how she looked cute and the usual stuff to which of course I didn't reply very much. As I was paying for the meal my mom blurted out at the last moment and he single. And this point the girl was rather caught off-guard and made a playful "ulala" sound and said something or other about maybe seeing me again another night or if I come around again. She started to walk off and then turned around and kind of told us or I guess rather me since she was looking at me, her name though she kind of stumbled with her words. My family is strongly thinking that she was interested or something but only once or twice that you look in my direction the entire time and she normally hosts so she just had a lot on her mind in my opinion and was kind of flustered and taking it back as I was at the occurrence of someone's mother randomly blurting out that their son was single. They enjoyed pointing out to me that she didn't have to turn back around and mention her name to me but yeah, that weird stuff just happened, like 30 minutes ago.

A waitress being kind is a waitress doing her job. You're parents just enjoyed fucking with you, is all.
