Protein shake time with Dyadka and Sparkie!

@aleix Um I find it better to eat before a workout actually. After the workout I prefer eating a bigger meal. Actually I have been working out 4 days a week for a long time. Only recently I switched to 5 days. If you work out casually, I see it as beneficial to take a break between the workout days.

@dyadka_yar What is your opinion about wrist straps i wonder? Do you use them yourself? I used to use wrist straps but since they are not allowed in powerlifting, I ditched them and went for chalk. Also they compromise your raw grip strength quite a bit

@ahuman I think my tricep muscle. It was pretty mild but still painful. I rested for a week or two and everything was fine

@aleix I'd suggest eating something before they gym. You want the liver loaded up with glycogen to get you through the workout. Not big meal before since that will slow you down. So eating a protein bar before hand is good, so long as it isn't a big one. @sparkis I used to use them before, after that I just use leather lifting gloves. They are good to keep the skin protected for a long workout, but also good for grip. @ahuman My forearm is what I pulled and it was to the point where it almost detached from the bone. Had to rest that for a few weeks which I was not happy about.

agree on leather gloves...all other gloves shit compared to the leather grip ^^
