Choco's Survival Tips: Orchards don't like when you sneak in and try to grab lunch. They shoot at you and yell mean things. The leaves that grow off the stems are edible, even if raw. (Though washing is recommended beforehand.) Much like a salad. The root, if browned over a stove, crushed up, and boiled in water can make for a good coffee substitute. The stem could be crushed up and used in a tea. Now you could eat weeds!

Arc has a bad habit of identifying plants and then after determining if they are edible presents them to me to try. Why am I the tasting bitch? Why do I have to try it 8(. I already don't like half the mushrooms he eats. ugh.

@verucassault To be fair, I don't really like any of the native edible plants that grow in Ohio. Wild onion, wild carrots, Pawpaw fruit... And the mushrooms. Always hated mushrooms especially. Give me oranges and bananas any day. But right now, taste matters less. They're abundant. So while I have no income, I could at least subsist on something to supplement my ramen. So trust me, it may be annoying right now, but when something beyond human control hits you financially, Arc's bad habit is a useful, practical skill. That and he's part cat, so when a cat brings you a dead rodent, what it's really saying is "You suck at hunting, so I'll provide for you. Now eat, for I shall take offense if you don't."
