@flare3 When I was in college, there was actually a class that discussed this movie and I believe the Lord of the Rings because of their "savior of humanity" stories. Most people who took it were people trying to fill in electives or people going to school for animation/film. Have you watched the video that explains how Agent Smith is "the one" rather than Neo? Calls back when he is talking to the Oracle when she says she told him what she needed to for the outcome to be what they needed it to be. See if I can find it..
