They do it to support something they like. Usually that someone could not do it all by themselves and they need support in order to survive/prosper. If another has expendable money and they want go give if away, what of it? That's thier prerogative.

Just watched higehiro and gouto-san is a manipulative b!+c# she is out here telling sayu all this dumb stuff getting in her ear, knowing she is an unstable teenage girl just to get her to leave. But honestly that other girl that has a crush on the MC i sorta wish he would get with her. She is the most likeable character. As much as i feel for sayu, this other chick is best girl.

After watching Disney's The Little Mermaid, I was scratching my head as to where the movie took place. I always thought it was in Spain, like the coasts of Barcelona. Apparently it takes place in Denmark.
