Stein;s Gate might deserve to be up there, but I've only read the VN and haven't watched the anime.
If you are an angsty college student I demand you watch Tatami Galaxy.

Ping Pong + Puella are both phenomenal shows that have among the best character development I've seen in almost any medium.

Slightly bias with Medaka Box as I don’t read manga often but that one manga is an exception since the manga is so frickin amazing which brought it further on my list. I really think more people should have gave the anime and manga a chance.

It’s funny because I decided to study to become a teacher so if I can even be 1/100th as good as Kuro-sensei I’ll feel complete with my career.
