Oh man, we're talking over fifteen years ago... I can't say for certain, but I remember that watching Sailor Moon, Cyborg 009, Rurouni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho always came before getting my homework done when I was in grade school. Always. Or maybe it was Pokémon...
I watched some things as a kid that I didn't even know are called anime. The first that probably turned me into a weeb was Lucky Star. I guess that affected why I love moe things now...
I'm Danielle age 21. First anime I saw was Dragon Ball but I fell in love with Pokémon. What truly 100% converted me into an otaku was a mixture of either Dragon BallZ, Sword Art Online, and Attack on Titan. I was binging all three at once.
Random weeb on the interwebs, 18. Just as @nyanko said, as a kid I watched ccs, pokemon and dbz without knowing what anime meant. Samurai Champloo, however, converted me.
I'm Adam age 25.
same as cancer_hime except the champloo part.
Hi im *Insert name here__* and mine was Rozen Maiden...twas the first anime I watched in Japanese.
My name is Alex and I am 21.
My first anime that actually turned me into an otaku was Orange (https://myanimelist.net/anime/32729/Orange). Watched other shows before and never knew what I was watching much as a kid. After my ex brought me into the world of anime and so the domino affect happened. Anime, Manga, Light Novels, Visual Novels and all.
Probably Gundam Wing back when I was 12 or so.
Fairy Tail, binged watched it instead of studying at like 15.
