I Hate Christmas

@Differentdrum I got invited by my family for a party, but declined. While I hold no ill will towards them and actually had an ok time with them Christmas Eve. Most of my family are the typical type A ppl, getting drunk,parties,clubs, bars etc. Not that I think there is anything wrong with that, but it's just not for me. I just can't connect with them(or ppl in general). Much like you those I care for are either dead, or no longer interested in spending time with me or have time for anything due to other obligations such as school or work. Sure it's nice my brother and his wife got me some clothes and a bluetooth speaker, and my mom,dad and aunts gave me some money leading up to 140$, but with the ppl I really care for being gone, it all felt empty. So yeah. At least know this, you're not the only one.

Tiger, SAD, by the way, is not just on a certain days (Like holidays). SAD is caused by lack of sunlight(Vitamin D production drops), since during the winter we tend to spend so much more time indoors, hence it being seasonal and that's not what you're describing. Sheesh... I wish I got $150... Hell, that'd just about cover the uhaul truck I'll need in about a month. And, I'd hope you'd really enjoy and care about your family (close or not). If that's a lonely day, I'd hate to see a truly lonely day...You'd die.XD Buuuut... If you still feel nothing towards your family, I do accept PayPal. You know, to take that burden and reminder of at least $150 worth of loneliness off of you. What can I say? I like to help people. I jest (Well, I will truly take the money...just sayin.), but holiday or not, enjoy what time you get and who it's with, even if you have only yourself to spend it with. Being alone doesn't mean you're alone (Emotionally or otherwise.).

I guess everyone has their opinion. However, I love celebrate the holidays. Not, because I'm Baptist. It's love spending time with my family/love ones and giving to others. No one needs to a Christian to celebrate Christmas. I mean people can even be Buddhist and celebrate Christmas still. :3

@Yasshat I'll keep my money, thank you very much. In seriousness though, my closest family members have passed away, and my closest friends stopped giving a damn about me, while the only one left doesn't understand me much. That's why I constantly feel lonely is because I have no one. Sure I could've went to the party, but drinking,being asked"how come you're not in college?"or"how come you don't like to drink?"or"how come you don't have a girlfriend" It's torture. I know it seems like I'm bitching about something insignificant, but the thing is whenever I open up to my family, they'd either laugh or tell me to stop being into the things you're into. They just don't understand me, and as a result I feel alone. My friends stopped calling me, and I always have to do the reaching out, they'd do things without me and I'd ask them what I do wrong, but they continuously dodged the question, which is sad because we used to be REAL close and as a result I developed the severe trust issues I have with people. So yeah. I do have another friend, problem is whenever I'd tell him what's up, it just goes over his head. Sigh I had much better, but it's all been taken from me. When the sun rises I'm going to gamestop to buy some games then head over to walmart and buy some snacks and eggnog and spend the rest of my holidays snacking,drinking eggnog and video gaming. Alone. Sigh. I typed more than I planned.

I love Christmas, always did. I honestly think that sometimes people that don't enjoy it and are always spamming how shitty it is for them is pretty much pointless, unnecessary and pathetic. Though, it's not my problem. This year I do agree it was shitty, my country's problem plus family problems made it shitty as fuck. But it doesn't mean I don't enjoy the vibes I get from it.
