It's normal for men to express emotions. Men being called pussies for expressing themselves is such bullshit. When I was young, I was a somewhat cry baby. I'll admit that. I've been called a sissy, wuss, etc. In time, I don't give a fuck anymore and just fuck up whoever fucks with me. I pretty much became mostly apathetic because I was a bit afraid to express without being ridiculed. Anyways, when women are in some form of emotion crisis and bitching about it, there's charities, foundations and support for them by both genders. All banded together with sparkling rainbows, sunshine and shit. However, when a man goes through the same thing, hardly any of those are there for them. Sure, there are some foundations and charities but not many. Men are technically on their own at most. Hell, if I remember, men have a higher suicide rate because the lack of support for them. Men treat other men like shit in these times but jump over to a women going through the same thing. Seriously, the guys who have the mindset of "I treat women more better than men" are retarded. Don't start with the "Oh, it's wired into men's brain" and "I've been raised this way" bullshit either. Just show how much power the pussy has. Our world is backward as fuck but sadly will always remain this way. Just help as a human being. Fuck all of that gender shit.

Don't care. You do you. I don't show my emotions but that's because I don't want to. My true emotions anyway. I'm a girl though. And guy above me get over yourself, if a woman is bitchy she straight away gets the "Are you on your period?!". Our emotions often get downplayed as unreasonable because we are "emotional by nature". Both genders have their perks and set-backs.

In Germany people usually only show and tell their very close friends how they really feel. If an acquaintance or colleague asks you how you feel that's not an invitation to vomit your feelings all over them. You smile and say you're great and ask in return how they are. It keeps society running smoothly. Want an emotional outlet? It's called sports and hobbies. When I feel like burning shit down I play the piano or dance. Calms me down without involving others unnecessarily. And if you are actually depressed or have a really shit time that's what your family and close friends are for.

Get over myself? Irrelevant but whatever. Sure women are "emotional by nature" but some take advantage of such "perk" and abuse the shit out of it which may be the reason why women's emotions are downplayed and frankly not taken seriously. You probably thought I was perhaps over reacting due to how much curse words put in. Anyways, the "period thing" is asked by others since they don't know if the women are actually on their period and women are pretty emotional in those times. Plus it seems to be random so it's hard to tell when one is on their period or just having an emotional meltdown; We don't know when the fuck women are on their periods. Also, many women love to toy with emotions as well so it's hard to tell these days which is probably why some people are cynical/skeptical towards women and say such thing. Of course, it can be used to taunt women. Like you said, women are known to be emotional by nature but sadly some take advantage of that. However, that's not the point and also for a different discussion. The point is, women have more support than men regardless when it comes to emotions thus many men are alone due to how society work which also increases suicide rates among men. Sure, they can pick themselves up and get their shit together but some just can't due to their mental state. Get help? Many tried but there's not much resources around them. Friends and family? Sometimes they can't turn to them since they may throw insults at them and such. I've been there. People you believe who they are sometimes aren't really what you thought they were. You can already tell from some users on this site; as an example. Really, women go through crisis, we got white knights and support coming their way. Men feel the similar thing, hardly anything comes their way. More I can add here but apparently, I may offend plenty and definitely go off topic.

Show your emotions. it is unhealthy to try to be someone you are not and bottling issues. find someone you trust (or an internet forum) and vent to people and consult with others. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwxNMb28XmpckOvZZ_AZjD7WM2p9-6NBv videos from this channel helps me understand myself and others check em out.

We hide our feelings to keep our pride and dignity. What do you have left within you if you've lost everything. But someday, someone will knock you to senses, make you feel confortable and listen to your wounds you hid for years.
