After ten years of making, Square Enix has finally released FFXV, and the result is breath taking.
Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata hopes that the game's ending leaves you in tears. He tells Game Informer that players who invest so many hours into a game deserve a strong ending.
"I want to create a very emotional ending to the game and want to make as many people cry as possible," he said. "You're spending so many hours playing the game, so when I finish a game and it ends on a sour note and it doesn't move me, it gets me disappointed. At least make me cry or give me some emotion! I want to give a moving ending for the consumers who invest so much time."
Another goal that Tabata has for Final Fantasy XV is for it to make a similar impact on the gaming industry that revered entry Final Fantasy VII did back in the late '90s.
"There are some team members that were here for VII," he explained. "They're taking on the challenge of trying to exceed that title once more, which is a great motivator for them. VII sets a very high goal for us, but it serves as a good goal. It brought in new audiences, sales, and more."
This open world Final Fantasy universe is so addicting.
Hopefully I'll see other FFXV players here!
I'm about 23 hours into the game and loving it!!!
I'm about 2 weeks into the game (due to my local store not caring about release dates) and I can tell you guys: it gets better still ~.^
Some of the most epic battles you have ever played will take place in this game :D
I finished the main story. It was great. Loved the bromance and combat though
my name is Noctis~ wadup~
I was lv 42 when I beat the game, Umbra travel to the past system works great! I am glad there isn't anything I missed that requires another play through to achieve.
I was really pumped for it, I been waiting for this since it was first announced as Versus, and I am happy that it finally got released.
I've literally spent 4hrs on Justice monster V alone. and god knows how long fishing XD.
I love this game ! I've been waiting YEARS for this game and I am not at all disappointed !
Well i finally managed to get the deluxe edition for quite cheap a few days ago, and im loving it as well ^^
I strolled around so much without doing anything useful
I love it xD
I'm waiting for the hopeful PC release because Peesea Mustard Rock hurr hurr hurr. One of my friends told me that it's pretty dang amazing and I can totally see it in literally every aspect of it - I play games primarily for the gameplay so the combat definitely interests me since it looks Dragon's Dogma-ish at first but only to figure out it's crazy and weird as hell which is funny considering I thought a game like Thumper was freaky as far as rhythm games go. I don't think it beats Doom 2016 since I consider that a phenomenal revolutionary masterpiece in top notch modern game design but I can see it being a top 10 contender in the best games of 2016 if I actually physically played it myself. Thank god we got so many fantastic games this year.
