Unjustified Banning?

I'm not usually the type to pester but why was I banned? Once again for that matter? I'd like to avoid this in the future... that's why I'm asking. I'm xynox btw.

From what I've seen the banning/temp banning here is a little questionable.....

Have any mods respond to this yet? I am curious on the reason of banning too.

it happened to me. tbh you might as well just forget it and move on. apparently there is a bot or something that can ban you (not just the mods) so maybe it banned you? or something like that

I've been banned a couple times but I tend to post things that trigger people. In my opinion the mods are either flaky and/or immature. If someone is banned a mod should message them telling them exactly why they were banned and for how long. So you can avoid similar behavior or mistakes in the future. That never happens here. Mods (whoever they are) just indiscriminately ban people, often for reasons nobody knows. This place is poorly moderated in my opinion.

For the most part, this place isn't moderated. Despite there being mods, they're (from my understanding) not given as much power as people think they have. As far as I know, the only person with actual banning power is Seph and iirc, an automated banner that is used to catch spam via trigger words/phrases. I'm not sure if the multiple account report button spam-to-ban still works, but that is another possibility.
