No Man's S̶k̶y̶ Hate

I noticed the hate for this game seems to be unending. I get that it may have been rushed with several bugs and incomplete features. But this was also a very ambitious game from a small team. The primary focus being on exploration with other actions being secondary. This was never really meant to compete with large scale games like Eve Online Elite:Dangerous or Star Citizen, all of which are probably better all around games. Of course the extreme exploration centric nature of No Man's Sky could itself be considered a flaw as many people will get bored. Still, I don't understand the continued hate for this game. I'm looking forward to playing it, I've watched many play through videos and I like just exploring and walking around. Although I'm really looking forward to Star Citizen with VR.

The hate is a meme, they also lied about the features and used bullshots for advertising. Also the ending was bad. I haven't played because it came out during the semester but a couple of my friends were enjoying it *shrug* I figure it's one of those things that just depends on your preferred gaming style
