God, this is one of the reasons I had to take a break from this site. The misogyny is strong here. Here's the t, gentlemen: if you think the friend zone is real or believe in the "girls like alpha jerks"/ "nice guys finish last" myths, then NO, you're NOT a "nice guy" and you don't fucking deserve a girlfriend.

Though I never read all of the comments regarding this subject. I actually never understood the friend zone thing. Only time that it was brought up was when a friend of mine said that I was in her friend zone or maybe just friends with benefits and I told her this "No, I'm in that zone that lets me get all the benefits of a boyfriend but I don't have the responsibilities of one." and she realized this, agreed, and sorta got mad that we're at that point but does nothing to stop it. XD But in the end, the friend zone is not to be taken seriously. Just ask and move on. Simply. It's not rocket science.
