When a man is on a date with a woman, who do you believe should pay?

assam
I would pay regardless, even if they said they would pay x3

I believe each person should pay for their own meals, otherwise you could take advantage of people by ordering the more expensive dishes which you wouldn't pay for yourself just because they will be paying for you, also if I asked some out to dinner and they accepted, it's not like I'm asking for them to pay or telling them that I'm paying, it's a mutual decision to go out and get dinner, not like anyone instigated the meetup. Naturally this could change depending on the circumstances, if I just won some money and wanted to treat people, then I would pay for the meals, but I wouldn't say this in advance, otherwise said people I'm treating could take advantage of it.

Well...If I invited the date, then I would pay it all. If she invited me, then she pays. LOL Its all in the invitation process, if she says wanna go eat, ill ask, "Is it a date or just a random meal?", if she says "just a random hangout", then each pay their own. If on the other hand she says "Yeah, its kind of a date", then ill respond "You´ll pay my food right?". Although obviously that would be a bit awkward, though it makes a good understanding in the relationship. The rest is unknown to all. ;)

I think if someone suggests a date, they can pay for it if they choose to (male or female). Otherwise I think each person can pay for what they buy.

I'm old fashioned abd believe that for at least for the first half year the man should pay. Nit that it's bad for the woman to help pay, or if she wants to pay, let her, but the default payer should be the man.

I believe the owner of the restaurant should pay.

Depends on the person. I personally pay, however that is if the person does not get in an argument over it
