Reasonable Age Of Consent

Vamp, If all you want is sex, there are plenty of people you can find and spend no more than the price of a couple of drinks or for free. Sex is easy, relationships are hard and rewarding work. Also, I'm not sure why you reminisce so much on opportunities you had for sex as a minor, it seems kind of odd. But, hey, you don't care what others think.

@yaasshat, why does everyone confuse liking sex for wanting just sex? I love sex, but I don't try to bang ho's on craigslist because I like relationships. I just like relationships with lots of sex. A relationship without sex is like a hamburger without meat; it's better than nothing and will keep you alive but it's not really fulfilling. Or vice versa, a hamburger without the bun and everything else just doesn't taste as good. I never had a gf till I was 19 or sex till I was 21. Of course I wanted both even in middle school, but when you are 12 it's easy to focus on things like breasts which are the most awesome things in the world at that age.

Simply put, I think 16-18 is about right. I don't think any real debate is needed. I most certainly agree that we (The U.S) needs to revamp our education system as far as sex ed is concerned. Really, issues like sex need to be addressed at home instead of government institutions, but that's something that can't be forced to change unfortunately.
