Random thoughts...

Went to pick up my meds from the pharmacy today and it cost me $100 with insurance. I had looked online for a coupon because I had been informed that it was possible to use a coupon in conjunction with insurance, however the pharmacist stated that this was not the case. According to her, "Sir that's ridiculous that you're trying to further lower the cost of this medication. We're already not making any money at the current price your insurance has generously negotiated on your behalf for. We should be charging $200 which is already incredibly cheap compared to other medications of its kind. If more people like you existed we would be out of business by tomorrow." Now there is a lot to unpack about how the pharmacist spoke to me for simply trying to make my medication more affordable given that possibly it may genuinely save my life, but I held back from making a smartass comment about how the pharmaceutical industry has openly overcharged for medications for years.

@gabriel_true Pretty big of you, if I got a nasty comment like that I wouldn't hold back. Should of went and got some lube from the personal health aisle for the ass fucking you were getting at the register XD.

Lube probably would have been the cheaper alternative honestly, haha! But it's the dark humor of one person telling another person, "Yeah you maybe dying, but what about my light bill, sir! Do you only think about your needs?"
