I was looking through photos earlier and was reminded of some really interesting idea. How many people's vacation photos are you in the background of?

I understand everyone has lives. I don't expect a reply every 5 minutes nor is it fair to expect that of anyone you chat with. That being said, don't go *shocked pikachu face* when they lose interest in you when you leave them on read and you don't bother reply to them for literal days on end, at least without a valid reason. Yes, I get no one is entitled to a response. But conversation and getting to know someone is a two way street too. Actions speak louder than words, and people who are genuinely interested in getting to know you will at least make a reasonable effort to do so. Lack of effort implies disinterest, whether intended or not.
