when she controls people, she literally has chains attached to them. what she truly wants is a "bond". family is the ultimate bond, where she doesnt have to, or perhaps feel the need to, control them. same to yoru. wars are not created equal, and many can be called just or necessarily. wars are often used to help or protect others. violence in support of a greater good. i think yoru just wants to protect asa. the devil is the projection of human fear of a certain thing, physical or conceptual, and perhaps by embodying these negative emotions, they also harbor some positive. how else could pochita, power, and violence sow relationships with humans if a devils nature truly is that of violence and wrath? its, big perhaps, likely that devils tend to desire what is most kept from them? pochita wished to simply hug someone, but as chainsaws are heavily serrated, that would never be possible. she wanted a family, but how when you never see another on equal grounds? you cant have a healthy relationship if you control them. war is likely the same, wishing to protect but is ultimately the embodiment of casualty and death

Finally got my bill from the hospital after over a month. It really is amazing what they try to charge a person. $19,700 for a single day. After insurance rejected it the hospital tried again for $17,000. When my company refused again they settled on $1,600. Of that about $700 was my responsibility.

I feel like hospitals really do throw darts at a board to see what sticks. Aim for a million so they at least walk away with a thousand.

they do pretty much literally. hospital prices have inflated since the advent of insurance because they can freely price gauge big companies. and if your insurance isnt from a big company, well, sucks to be you.
