It was a marvel at the time of conception, but looking back at it now, Advent Children has aged poorly! Characters in the movie look rendered off of the PlayStation 3. The story was also completely confused with its narrative. Introduction of new characters that had zero to do with the plot didn't help. Everything's purpose in that film was to get Cloud to fight Sephiroth on the big screen. Reno and Rude get a few decent scenes too, but that quickly becomes shelved to watch Cloud cry for 90 minutes before Tifa picks him up and chucks him through Bahamut into the films conclusion. From there he pretty much one shots the rest of the enemies including Sephiroth. Then the film concludes awkwardly with Cloud blowing up only for 5 seconds of a transition to reveal he was fine the whole time. THE END! Least we got Sephiroth's theme in metal, right? Until that got deleted from the director's cut version of the film. Oh yeah, cause they made not 1 but 2 different versions of it for additional confusion! Oh wait, NO, 3! Cause they had the collector's edition too. So my coworkers and i had a conversation the other day about washing chicken. The vast majority of black people washed their chicken before cooking. While the white people said they didnt because the heat kills salmonella. It got me thinking, why do we wash the chicken then?

You want to towel off the chicken so it's as dry as possible when you're cooking it. Oil and water don't go together well when you're cooking so it always blew my mind when people would purposely get the chicken wet
