Random thoughts...

Didn't read what was posted yesterday cause I forgot to come back to check in. I have worked quite a bit with Puerto Ricans lately, sadly, they are very Americanized in the way they speak, their accent sounds mixed. It's not a bad thing overall, it's just that they don't really sound like how most Latinos do, they sound more like Americans who were taught from early on their life how to speak Spanish without being given pointers on the accents. It's probably the influence of their status as a satellite for the US

@swadian i have heard how mexicans speak (like actual native mexicans) i have also been told by a mexican native my spanish is fairly good and she wouldn't have known i dont know how to actually speak it besides conversational. I have A accent it just isnt the typical american english speaker. I dont have a country accent and i dont have that preppy white person accent either. Im an islander so our english is much different and i dont put much emphasis into words. Think like a half and half between jamaican and regular english. So when i say stuff it comes out more natural because i dont enunciate properly like most americans.

I can't fucking stand doctors. I get that they dont know your body as well as you do but when im fucking going into detail and even giving ideas that i think might be causing said issue.. Like work with me here on fixing the fucking problem. Instead doctors are just glorified legal drug dealers trying to peddle drugs that they're incentivized to push. Its an absolute joke. Everything ive tried has been a bandaid fix and isnt fixing the root issue. Im incredibly jaded.

At least you get drugs, i sat around for 3 hours just to be told i have an upper respiratory infection and thats it. No medication or anything. She told me to combat my sore throat continue to gargle salt water like i told her i was doing before even coming there.

Panda-kun™ @hell_hound7 I meaaaan, I've heard you speak and it seemed pretty standard overall, no surprises there on your English. Idk, as a native, every American I've spoken to on Spanish sounds funny to me, if you can pronounce effortlessly ferrocarril, Tijuana, entendimiento, then you might not suffer too much when visiting Latino countries. Overall, it's not like I get anything out of explaining this

@swadian XD imma leave it at that bro, i could go on to explain how i speak differently with others than i do with my family. But its easier to just let you believe what you believe.
