Random thoughts...

Reminds me of what happened when I got caught watching wholesome anime. My laptop got confiscated, family checked the registry to see exactly which websites were browsed and then it got wiped and factory reset. Did not get it back for a year or two. I'm sure most people's families are not as crazy as mine but yeah it is a pain to constantly keep track so you don't get caught. Typing university assignments were a pain after that. One day though I was able to force my way through so I could pursue what I am interested in, be it anime or video games. So I am sure it can work out for you too.

She trusts me it's just my mom is a bit of a control freak so when there's something she doesn't know or can't control she tries to figure it out or control it

Bliss, I was moreso joking. Although, there are many perks to living by yourself, there's a part of me that envy's your living situation, at least a little. I don't think as an adult that you should have to worry about your privacy, that's kind of silly. But, there's a double edge to every living situation.
