the blood of the oaths we make with our chosen people is stronger than the water that ties us to the womb. i read some time ago that "blood is thicker than water" actually means the opposite of what people today think it means you saying that reminded me

giant asian hornets are apparently an invasive species, yet i still can't find one framed for under 100 bucks

Just get a giant european hornet or a bald faced hornet,framed. They're all over around VA and they're pretty big. Edit: I did all of a thirty second search and found a framed giant asian hornet for just under $60. Still way more than I'd spend for a framed wasp.
