All I can say is it’s all fun and games till martial law is in place, I can assure you that will not be fun. If people fight against the police like they have been in certain areas that’s a very real possibility.

rioting is never a good thing but neither is a society that forces its citizens to riot and while you may tell people to 'peacefully protest' that still hasn't gotten any real, meaningful change dont blame the citizens for getting so distressed they feel they have to riot blame the fucking institution that is forcing their hand
neotangs
Rioting and rioters are fucking stupid. Violence that isn't organized and targeted at the entity you've deemed the enemy is useless

Remember that Martin Luther King didn't approve of ignorant violence in either camp. The movement he led, though helped in part with Malcolm X's Black Panthers, was mostly successful because they peacefully protested to the right institutions. - The people that resisted oppression marched on capital hill and the White House front lawn. They did not simply light fires on random homes and businesses unrelated to the crimes they were fighting against. - The problem with modern protests is they lack focus or a defined goal. In addition they are using the wrong tactics to get attention simply bringing justification to those that are in the wrong. - The specific policemen that are acting like renegades need to be specifically held accountable. The average policeman is not the issue. In fact I drove by 2 black policemen doing their jobs respectfully. So are they deserving of public assault? To whom is justice being served? - Focus is important in a protest. Right now I am seeing very little attention to detail. The wrong people are being attacked and that makes the protests counter productive.
