After doing some research on the mushrooms growing in my yard I have concluded that they are toxic. - The gills are white, the cap stains blue, and the stalk has a notable skirt. - Another way of knowing is if they smell strongly of a bleach chemical. Just a wiff has made my head light. - Good mushrooms have a pleasant oder, have brown gills, and the stalks don't have bulbous sacks or skirts. They also do not stain red or blue.

@gabriel_true Do be careful since Death Caps smell like roses. If it smells a bit like fish, grab a dish. Also Chicken of the Woods mushroom tends to be a bit toxic if found on Birch trees.
