I don't get to use this often, so forgive me if it isn't your style. You should check out the anime Shion No Ou. It's about a girl who plays Shogi. She went through a trauma and can't talk, but she has a really strong will, regardless. Didn't want to send via PM since you won't talk to people over 24. :)
