Just to be clear I'm not saying pedophilia is fine. I'm saying that the shit should be treated if it can. But if anyone who came forward was viciously harassed then what sane person would admit to it? Treat it as a sickness. Lock up the monsters who act on it but try to help those who look for help. That's all I'm saying.

@Maria I think I just misunderstood what you said, then. About the mental health issue, I still think yours is a dodgy stance to take, especially considering history with 'mental illnesses'. Also, I dare you to search the DSM-V to find anyhting about pedophilia. Almost everyone tends to confuse the difference between the legal and biological difference between what is or isn't a child and what is or isn't natural to be attracted to. If she has bumps on her chest than it's natural to have a certain attraction, but if she's under 18 than you shouldn't get involved with her. If she is too young to have breasts or pubic hair it is NOT natural to have sexual attraction. That is just normal biology, males are naturally attracted to females old enough to give birth.
