Weeding Out Catfish

People probably see me as a catfish. I assure you I am not there is a very specific reason why I do things. I only want people I know very well to know my phone number and what I actually look like. My profile is completely true. I'm just a nice person who is not willing to share everything on the internet yet. I don't mind meeting people irl, but I live in the middle of nowhere and I don't really have the cash to travel very far.

Themerc24, I think most people wouldn't expect a guy on the internet to be a catfish. When one thinks catfish it's usually people pretending to be a girl, not the other way around.

@Neet just making it clear. Because I had someone pm me that I was to good to be true and they suspected me of being a fake. Its frustrating telling the truth just to be told it's not believable.

Oh real fishing. Ok to catch catfish I use rotting chicken guts mixed with stink bait. Cast very slowly (or the bait will fly off) into an area with lots of cover. Attempt to float the bait just off the bottom. That's how I got my limit in Nebraska in 3 hours.

Guys, what I listed doesn't necessarily mean that a person is a catfish. They're just warning signs to help you weed them out. Also, I'm fully aware that the easiest way is to copy their picture's URL and use Google. However, some catfish can still slip through the cracks.

I actually tend to do #3 and #5 because I think it's better to know a person well before giving up too much personal info. I will however, do Line.
