They already said that they are concerned about anyone and wanted a person that is depressed to reach out to them. My mental capacity is far beyond your comprehension. If you can't take a person's concern with gratitude then that is a personal problem and you shouldn't take it out on the original poster.

You don't quit, do you? Let's think logically, if the OP knows about someone dying on the news, they might possibly be affected by that, they might even think about people that die somewhere, but nobody can obsess on that and go looking for people that died all over the world!

I can't speak for OP but Yami does seem to be extending a welcome hand to anyone that needs someone to talk to about something that's bothering them. It's not about losing sleep over many other people dying, but helping the people that are here and could use a friend to help them to feel better. I wouldn't exactly announce it like this but Yami seems to genuinely want to help others.

I hope you know that most of the people on MO genuinely appreciate that you are showing concern and a willingness to help, and I am also appreciative to the other members here that also offered the same concern and willingness to help. I am sure that members will reach out to you. Thank you again from my heart, as someone that is suffering with major depression I really appreciate what you are doing.
