Hello

Hi everyone, new to this site. I was in a relationship for about 6 months but everything went down the drain once my gf found out that im into anime -_- and i guess you can say that she hates it for some reason. when ever she would come to my house i made sure i didn't have anime related stuff in my room because i thought that if she saw my collection she would dumped me -_-. Sure enough she dumped me after the anime expo because she thought that i was like a child for liking anime. Yup i think its kinda hard to live the life of an otaku but regardless what others think, i will always love anime haha :D. If anyone is interested in hanging out let me know, i will be going to little tokyo to hang out :D

You dont have to change yourself or restrict what you love so that you could be with your gf. For me thats ridiculous. Live your life the way you want it not what others want you to be. Just think that if she doesnt love the way you are, you know there are someone else out there just waiting for you. Liking anime doesn't make you immature/childish. Ive seen people who already have a family and all and they still like anime and into gamings and stuff. But hey, they're happy. As long as you're responsible. Got a job. And you can live your own life. Keep that enthusiasm around you about being passionate in animes. If you take away something that you love to do, trust me, you'll regret it one day. I would love to go to Little Tokyo but i cant because i live in the valley and i dont have a ride yet. I would love to hang out in there one time and meet other people. Sigh.... Someday...

hey, thanks for the advice! I find it kinda hard to find someone or date someone who is into anime, its rare for me. My family haven't acknowledged my hobby for liking anime and they are against it, but regardless of what they say they cant change my mind. Next time a girl ask me what are my hobbies the first thing im gonna say its anime :D

@momoici IKR!! haha anime is not childish! yeah it still hurts me emotionally to have lost her ,but i rather find someone who likes me for who iam :D, and thanks , i really hope i can find someone :D

Exactly Light, just have to find the ones who like you for you. Welcome by the way. My mom just usually shakes her head, but she is used to all of my interesting hobbies, she knows I will never change. My dad on the other hand, usually tries anything that I do. He started playing MMO's 10 years ago, cause he knew I enjoyed them, so he gave it a shot. Granted, he doesnt like playing on the pvp servers like I do, so he plays on normal ones, but he still plays, and he is 63. :) Gaming and stuff like that is kind of hereditary for me I guess. :)
