Looking for an anime/game character that I can cosplay. It's really hard to find a character with my build. I'm 6.4" fairly stocky. Most of the characters I have found don't wear shirts and I'm not to comfortable about that.
Characters I have already done are chouji, Denmark, jack ff type 0, bob from tekken and reno from ff 7 also Gordon ramsey.
Just looking for something different to try.

Being 6'2" even half a decade ago, I found it helpful to cosplay as Von Hohenheim from the original anime version of Fullmetal Alchemist back when I was still properly fat, as the "cloak" (an oilcloth great plains duster with the insulating lining removed and freezer packs added) disguised my shape and made it look like it was merey the cloak that was bulky. Based on your picture and my knowledge of what decent makeup can do, I'm thinking you could maybe pull off one of the more clothed versions of Akuma from Street Fighter. Other than that, all I can think of is that you could maybe do something to complement your eyes (I don't know if it's just the picture quality combined with your expression, but they seem really distinctive), and definitely look into characters with bulky clothing that could be faked using thin clothing. If you're reeeaaally stocky, maybe try Sasori's scorpion puppet from Naruto (the version where all of the limbs and tail and everything that would require prosthetics can be simply left out because they would be covered by the Akatsuki cloak), since you mentioned cosplaying as Chouji, and the most widely known Chuuji/Chouji of which I am aware is from that series.
I'm really just tossing out ideas at this point. I'm used to working with a lot more information (like what anime the person likes, if they mind cosplaying as an obscure or common character or character type, if they'd prefer a character they can emulate in character or just someone who looks the part), so I'm sorry if I haven't been of much help.
Edit: Oh, speaking of Fullmetal Alchemist, Gluttony and Manga!Sloth are rarely-cosplayed but easily-recognizable "stocky" character with shirts. I don't know if you'd be willing to cosplay someone with as much of a height difference as Gluttony, though, based on the second sentence of your post, and I'm not sure which version of "stocky" you mean so Sloth might not be appropriate, and either way you might not want a thin shirt like that.

I understand what you mean man I am currently trying to lose weight so I fit in as more of the characters though the good thing about being 5'8 is that I can still cosplay most of the kid a teen characters that there are a lot of in the anime world. You can always try cosplaying a mech of some kind. Really though dude do what you want man. Cosplay who you want and do it to the best of your ability and just have fun with it. The point of cosplay is to have fun of course. If you have a great cosplay down to the tiniest little button on a shirt people will notice and think it's awesome. It doesn't matter if maybe your to big to be that character or to small for that matter to wide or to skinny as long as people see a great cosplay they will like it but thats up to you what you think of it. I plan on not caring even if I don't lose the wait I'm still gunna do the cosplay I want to do cuzz I want to do it.

Something different eh? Ya know, whenever I can't find a character to pull off I go for a full body cosplay. It gets to be on the expensive side but it sure pays off when you got a full group of Desert Punk and the Machine Gun Brothers walking around cons.
