Election

Best thing about voting is when you're walking into the area and all the candidate volunteers are so friendly to you. Then after you're done voting they don't even look at you, haha. Just a little dark humor on my part. Can't say who I will vote for yet but I'm keeping an eye out. Hope I can get out to a few rallies.

As usual I will vote for whomever makes the most sense when the times comes as I am a centrist. They are all pathetic in their own ways. If you have nothing good to vote for you can at least vote against the worst of the worst. I implore you all to vote if you can as that is partly why the govt has gone so bad; apathy, resignation. Last election barely over a third of all eligible voters showed up giving mobilized political groups power over the majority more easily or creating deadlock. I don't care what party you like, it's time for a war against incumbent career politicians...all of them. Would you rather take care of your country with the pen or the sword? Had all those voters who think it's a waste showed up... I think Trump just gets poll numbers as a troll on the status quo because people are pissed. He just joined forces with Sarah Palin after breaking his bromance with Cruz...could this become the perfect storm of crazy? What is the silent majority going to do this time?

Voter turnout in the US is among the lowest in almost all developed countries. I never understood why people would rather sit back thinking nothing they can do matters so why bother. And sure 1 single vote may not mean much. But when 42% of the population collectively thinks that way, well then that's how you end up with scumbags in positions of power(combined with gerrymandering, the electoral college, and other such sly ways of curbing elections). If you want to make a difference then you should do what you can. Because if you don't then it is as good as saying that you are okay with things being as they are. Get educated and make your voice heard. Also, I'm voting for Sanders :P I like his stances more than other likely candidates.
