I feel like a creeper when...

It's called lurking, and I feel people should do more of it before posting. It gives them a better understanding of the site they're on, and saves regular users from having to be swamped by dumb questions or threads that have already been made countless times before.

I do that all the time.. how else to decide whether or not to join the threads.. Ain't no shame in my game.
