Has anyone on here dated anyone?

Has ANYONE at all met someone off of this website and actually dated? I'm not talking about an online, long distance relationships or hangin' out as friends. I mean actually finding someone in your area and getting together as a couple. I'm just curious.

I've met people from off here. Not dated but other otaku's to meet up at a con. I will be meeting up with 1 chick who i've been talkin to for over a year next week tho.

Sadly, I've never had a girlfriend. There have been woman I've know who I've been interested in romantically but I've been too nervous to ask out. Though there have been time I've stepped up to ask a girl out only to find that she's taken.

Cant say that I have to be honest. Its a great resource to meet people, sure, but most of the friends I make live in far off lands. And I really cant see myself going on a road trip to meet anyone yet.

There was the one time about a year ago where I was confessed to by my British friend, but I declined because I didn't see anything coming out of it. Otherwise I've been pretty much told I have an arranged marriage in my future unless I find someone that my mother approves of (she's old school Asian).

I've been on a single date with a girl from my Anatomy and Physiology course about two years ago. We didn't connect like I wanted so we didn't go further.
