Depends on the actual history. Would the history still be in effect today, and be harmfull towards the relationship, then no I wouldn't. Otherwise, I can't see why not.

yes i would. it would be hard at first for the person but after time it would make the bond better and stronger from it.

I would. However, I don't think some of the people who said they would date someone with those problems actually understand what that could entail. More than a few people that I know don't want to deal with a lot of baggage that comes with people with those problems.

I wouldn't mind if I know that I can somehow help that person out... An does this work the same for myself... This forum somewhat makes me think about my past

I don't see why it would be a problem. The last is the past. All the more reason for you to be there for them.
